Forklift Rodeo Safety Competition

Watch highlights of the Hyster Forklift Rodeo Safety Competition in celebration of North Carolina's Manufacturing Day 2022. Meant to demonstrate the safe and effective use of materials handling equipment, experienced forklift operators test their skills in a competitive environment. They go above and beyond (and sometimes through literal hoops) using world-class Hyster forklifts to get the job done. These talented forklift operators demonstrate how to score a basket, bowl a strike and thread the needle with just the forks of their lift trucks. They also take a lift truck theory test and conduct a pre-use inspection, which is critical knowledge for the daily operation of a forklift. Congratulations to Cummins, this year's winning team.
